 Flooding closed down roads in Prince George's County this afternoon following 3 inches of rain, especially near Riverdale. Multiple water rescues were performed, the fire department reported. No injuries were reported.

2:48pm Monday August 8 - Happening Now: Flooding in PG County

HAPPENING NOW: Flash flooding is ongoing in northwestern Prince George's County. Prince Georges County Fire Department reported numerous motorists stranded in high water on Kenilworth Avenue in Riverdale (just outside of DC). Many places are receiving 3 inches of rain.
